Horror Movies that need a MAKEOVER !!!

Everyone knows this is the time for remakes, it's like common knowledge. In the horror field, anyway. If anyone remembers a blog awhile ago. I mention something about Horror films that don't get a chance. This got me thinkin, what about remakes that should be done. Now, if you know me from my blogs. I hate remakes, if not dispise them. Most of them never live up there name but hell with these films. I am about to list, I think Hollywood should make an exception.

NEW YEARS EVIL --- During a New Year's Eve celebration, a punk-rock singer gets a phone call saying that when New Year's strikes in each time zone, someone will be murdered--and she will be the last one. ( The Internet Movie Database ) Written and Directed by Emmett Alston and Starring Roz Kelly and Kip Niven made in the 1980's slasher era. This movie is screaming for a remake. The only thing they should keep is the famous Elevator sence. Even though, this movie is bad. This one needs a hero to save it from the dusty safe of tragic movies.

NIGHT OF THE COMET --- Call the CASTING DIRECTOR, Paris Hilton would be a shoe in! The plot, two valley girls find themselves in a pickle. They finally figure out they are the last few people on earth after a comet has wiped out the entire planet. But, there bimbo ways lead them into poor judgement and they see there is more out there then themselves. This 1984 classic is still not noticed. Written and Directed by Thom Eberhardt and starring Catherine Mary Stewart and Kelli Maroney.

PEEPING TOM --- This cult classic should be on peoples minds for awhile. Michael Powell created this work of art and ruined his career. Someone who was thinking beyond his time. The Internet Movie Database pionts out this as a plot, A young man murders women, using a movie camera to film their dying expressions of terror. Even though, this is pretty morbid film, the time has changed and we are in harsh times. We are READY for this one! Lay it out on us Hollywood ! FEAR.NET has the classic playing, please see it.

HALLOWEEN 3 SEASON OF THE WITCH --- OH MY GOD ! I miss this movie so much and would love to see if they can remake this one. If you pull this Name up on your PC, you will find some great and fun facts about this film. Having many stumping questions to push upon your friends. Like the plan for each Halloween. The stars of this movie, Tom Atkins and Stacey Nelkin which most likely joke about how bad of a flop this film was. Could see now it had something different. The story line, Slivershamrock has a plan to put into effect, and it has something to do with your Halloween masks. Someone wants to sacfice your children. AHHHHHHHHH !!! MY BABIES !

THE CRAWLING HAND --- For all those, " Mystery Science Theater 3000 Fans " who have seen this old school horror film. You would have to say this one needs the whole works. Even though, this would go straight to video. This movie could be the greatest horror comedy for the next year. Made in the 50's era, starring Kent Taylor and Peter Breck. The plot is very simple, a dead astonauts hand takes terror at large, by choking the air supply out of the living. My suggestion if you don't care to see the real film, see the Theater 3000 version. At least you be able to make jokes and wise cracks.

Now, there is only some but I would like to know if anyone out there agrees or disagrees. Comments are welcome, and would like to know what movies should be redone? Your opinion counts to me. Even though, I am small time it's nice to see if there are people out there who agree with me. With that said and done. Still working on the list for the, Top 5 Worst Horror Movies of all Time. I got some, but never knew this one would be such a pain in my ass.
